If you are keeping an eye on Must Love Wine, the wine social network, you will notice how fast it is growing. They literally have only been at this for a few months and they topped 3000 members the other day. I looked again today and there are 200 more. These may not seem like big numbers to sites like FaceBook or MySpace but for a specialized, niche social network it is big. I bet by the end of the year there are 25,000 members as it grows exponentially.

Must Love Food is a social network for foodies. The site is up and live in a very basic version and is now accepting foodies who wish to join. In the coming months, the site will take on a lot of changes but since it is free to join why wait? And what are the upcoming changes you may ask? Well, talking to Mark, the former chef extraordinaire, a recipe section will be added that is streamlined to make it easy to add your recipes with photos, the existing blogs, events and groups section will receive a face lift and improved functionality and there will be a complete redesign. That sounds like a lot of work to me but Mark has assured me he want to make Must Love Food the best site for foodies on the web.

MustLoveWine.com, the wine lovers social network, keeps growing and growing. When I last checked less than a month ago the social network had almost 400 members and it was a lovely community of interactive wine drinkers. In the last month Must Love Wine has added over 1000 and is getting bigger everyday. From talking to them I see they are making plans for a complete rework of the site to improve functionality.

“It was an idea I’d had for quite some time.” says Mark, who runs Must Love Wine, ” I bought a script to test the waters and the response has been overwhelming. I have some major changes in the works that will make the site everything it needs to be. I’ve asked a few of our members what they would like and the feedback has given me the insight to become the best wine site on the net.”

They are certainly on the right track. I’m looking forward to seeing what they improve on and add to the site.

Across the World there are at least fifty major styles of beer. From oak-aged Flemish red ale to Berliner weisse to Russian Imperial stout the list goes on and on. Whether you like to try different beers or have an old favorite or just partake in an ice cold Budweiser on a red hot summer day we want you to join us and get involved. Share your knowledge. Must Love Food is a social network for foodies to chat and share knowledge about their favorite foods, recipes, wine pairings and so much more. Must Love Food will bring together an eclectic foray of food lovers and culinary experts. We will have recipes, food pairings, guest bloggers, listings for your local wine dinners and as the community grows you will be making like minded, food loving aquaintances the world across.
